Key Performance Area:
- Knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes (Extrusion, Curing, Vulcanization)
- Understanding of automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949
- Familiarity with core quality tools including PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma concepts
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems
- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per the production schedule
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
- Monitor and control rejection, rework, and wastage
- Handle audits (internal, customer, ISO/IATF)
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
