Project Engineer – Aerospace Division

Key Responsibilities

• Possess good knowledge of AS9100D requirements and NADCAP requirements applicable to aerospace manufacturing and quality systems.
• Address customer enquiries and understand customer drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review customer drawings and requirements for technical feasibility.
• Prepare BOMs, cost estimates, and quotations based on customer requirements.
• Review tenders and prepare all required technical and commercial documentation for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with NPD, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Monitor project activities and ensure development is completed as per agreed timelines.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding project and product development status.
• Organize internal project review meetings and track action items, responsibilities, and progress.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate sample development, validation, testing, and customer approval activities.
• Collect and review customer satisfaction feedback and initiate appropriate improvement actions.
• Participate in customer review meetings and technical discussions.
• Understand and ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
• Ensure customer requirements, specifications, and applicable standards are effectively flowed down to the CFT and relevant departments.
• Coordinate closure of customer observations, technical queries, and development-related issues.
• Maintain project documentation, development records, customer communications, and approval records.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to aerospace projects, customer requirements, quality, cost, and delivery.
