Senior Engineer – Maintenance (LZPH003)

Key Performance Area:

• Lead the team and create a safety-first culture through daily safety walkthroughs, ensuring equipment safety and adherence to prescribed safety standards
• Drive the team to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and near misses, and initiate corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment
• Promote effective implementation of 5S and good safety practices
• Track preventive maintenance plans versus actual execution daily
• Review preventive maintenance outcomes and observations, and take actions to improve machine life
• Collaborate with Production and Planning to support monthly, weekly, and daily production plans
• Monitor daily breakdowns and address root causes with corrective measures
• Analyze MTBF and take actions to improve equipment reliability
• Review MTTR and simplify methods to reduce repair time
• Implement preventive and condition-based maintenance to achieve 99% equipment uptime
• Lead and influence teams to achieve targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Operate repair and maintenance costs within budget
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for energy saving, H&S environment improvement, machine downtime reduction, machine/parts lifecycle improvement, spares cost reduction, space utilization, and alternate manufacturing methods
• Ensure completion of at least one breakthrough Kaizen project
• Support admin and safety functions to provide optimal plant layout, equipment, lighting, and other facilities to meet statutory requirements
• Lead and influence the team to achieve set targets
• Develop the team through systematic training programs
• Demonstrate and reinforce company values consistently
