Key Performance Area:

  • Lead and manage the Production Division, aligning with company objectives and customer requirements
  • Develop long-term manufacturing strategies to support customers
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across productivity, safety, and cost efficiency
  • Build and mentor a strong technical and production team
  • Design and implement lean manufacturing cells using effective systems to optimize the use of space, equipment, material, and personnel
  • Closely work with the Production Planning function and execute monthly, weekly, and daily production plans
  • Achieve a 100% production hit ratio with the effective utilization of available resources
  • By cycle time reduction and line balancing, increase both production units per hour per operator
  • Ensure 100% adherence to process standards and effective implementation of all corrective actions
  • Ensure production targets are met while adhering to ISO 13485, CE, FDA, GMP, and other applicable standards
  • Monitor capacity utilization, resource planning, and on-time delivery performance
  • Ensure effective utilization of 3M’s
  • Implement 5S and best practices to minimize waste and optimize workflow
  • Support the Plant Head in installing new production lines as and when required
  • Ensure compliance with medical industry certifications and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain specified quality of all products and ensure first pass through
  • Review quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities to sustain quality requirements and make recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards across the division
  • Reduce inventory days (TBD)
  • Ensure the production line is operated at optimized inventory levels
  • Encourage Kaizen breakthrough projects every quarter across the plant
  • Monitor and optimize operational costs
  • Support HR in creating a high-performing and sustainable talent pool and people processes
  • Provide adequate on-the-job training to the team to meet skill matrix requirements
  • Lead and influence the team in achieving set targets
  • Support the HR team with systematic trainings as and when required
  • Demonstrate the company values
  • Effectively communicate HR policies to the production team and implement them fairly on the shop floor
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences, providing solutions in concurrence with the Plant Head
