AS – Design Engineer

Key Performance Area:

• Conceptualize, design, and modify components as per specifications and standards
• Conduct theoretical and practical research on new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to improve designs
• Utilize 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) to create models, perform analyses, and test designs for functionality
• Oversee the development and testing of prototypes to validate designs and ensure they meet specifications
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, design proposals, and other project-related documentation
• Provide technical guidance and resolve issues that arise during the design, manufacturing, and testing phases
• Ability to analyze data, interpret technical specifications, and solve complex engineering problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
