Key Performance Area:
- Conduct feasibility studies within stipulated timelines upon receipt of RFQs in collaboration with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT).
- Review and analyze customer requirements, including technical and packaging specifications, during the RFQ phase with the CFT.
- Coordinate the preparation of part costing during the RFQ phase, ensuring accuracy and alignment with technical, commercial, and supply chain inputs.
- Lead the review and validation of costing data with the CFT before final submission to management and the customer.
- Organize and lead kickoff meetings for new projects.
- Ensure timely onboarding and kickoff of prototype and production suppliers.
- Collaborate with core teams to develop comprehensive project readiness plans.
- Periodically review supplier development status for new products.
- Ensure on-time project initiation and maintain oversight of project timelines, deliverables, and progress.
- Lead weekly project review meetings with the CFT.
- Track and measure project performance against defined milestones, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on schedule, escalating issues and delays when necessary.
- Develop and follow up on action plans for delayed deliverables to ensure timely closure.
- Communicate project status updates regularly to the reporting manager and customers.
- Escalate critical project issues to management or customers as needed, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.
- Ensure first-time-right product delivery; proactively eliminate rework to enhance quality and reduce cost.
- Implement and manage change control processes in accordance with company procedures; evaluate impact, obtain approvals, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to Customer Support, PPC, and Production teams, following QMS procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
- Perform proactive risk assessments to identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
