Assistant Manager – Assembly

Key Performance Area:

• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets as per plan
• Maintain process quality and product conformity through strict adherence to work standards and control plans
• Manage manpower allocation, shift planning, and operator skill development to ensure smooth operations
• Drive OEE improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization through lean manufacturing practices
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Stores to minimize downtime and meet delivery schedules
• Monitor and control process parameters, rejection levels, and rework rates to achieve defined performance KPIs
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations and maintain 5S workplace standards
• Support new product and process implementation, and manage engineering changes effectively
• Prepare and analyze daily production reports, downtime analyses, and improvement action plans
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through team engagement, Kaizen activities, and training initiatives
