Senior Engineer – Aerospace – NPD

Key Performance Area:

• Prepare APQP Time inline with Aerospace standard requirements.
• Conduct feasibility study within the stipulated time on receipt of the RFQ with CFT team.
• During RFQ phase review all the customer requirements with CFT team.
• Read & Understand technical requirements and flow down.
• Organize and conduct kick off meeting for all new project.
• Review supplier development status periodically for the new products.
• Ensure on time project initiation & monitor through weekly review meeting with CFT and control the project.
• Work with core team to develop readiness plan / Micro level plan.
• Ensure all the project deliverables are completed on time and escalate when necessary.
• Get action plan for delayed deliverables and ensure action plans are implemented on time.
• Measure the performance of the project. Know how the project is performing against milestones, time frames, deliverables, budget and resources.
• Ensure to deliver first time right products or parts, eliminate rework to improve quality standards and reduce cost.
• Ensure change management is followed and controlled as per procedure. Check the impact for approval and communicate to customers.
• Ensure proper handover of new project to CFT as per QMS procedure.
